Stripes on the front bumper would fight with the shape of the little support in the lower grille, and make the front way too busy. The stripes are perfect as-is.

Agreed. I did a test fit of the stripes and that support is just a bit wider than the gap between the stripes...looked wonky with them there. I like the front just the way it is.

Now, if I get an aftermarket front bumper at some point the story may change but with stock I'm stickin' where I am.

Never been a fan of fanblade rims on these cars, but I will say they do look better with your car now that you painted them. I still can't wait to see it with some aftermarket rims and some height adjustment!.....and those stripes seem to be growing on me!!

I had a thought about something I'd like to try, so I'm thinking I'd like a little black vinyl as well...

It's an 8" Matte Black stripe made by, believe it or not, LG. It's supposed to be weather resistant and keep its color for, I believe, eight years outdoors. I got it locally for $1/foot...actually less 'cause he gave me 2.5 feet extra for free.
