All Clean and Ready For the Nationals
Just washed, compounded and threw a quick coat of wax on. Getting it ready for the Ford Nationals this Sat. Still got some more cleaning and work to finish it up, yet before its ready.
These are from my buddys house down the street. Its hard to clean in an apartment parking lot so I borrowed his house to clean it. These are from my parking at my apartment, remeber this is my daily driver, thus the dents and scratches.

Re: All Clean and Ready For the Nationals
the cailpers and rotors were just painted on friday. I have left over paint for touch ups on the brakes. Yeah I know im gonna have a crap load of water spots to get off it, seeing how its been rainings since i finished cleaning it. If I get time I have a liquid claybar kit to use to, and maybe another coat of wax, it only has 1 on it. A buffer makes life so much eaiser. I still need to clean up the inside, if it ever stops raining. I have a california duster, but i need to pick up bottle of detailer. A car cover is kinda a pain since this is my daily driver. Yeah I bring a bucket of cleaning stuff to carlisle with me.
I painted the pillars on saturday. I was only gonna paint my gauge pod but when I did the color didnt match the stock pillars, but I like it better. So the pillars where painted to match the gauge pod. I tried to do some painting under the hood, But I dont like how it came out, so my hood just might stay closed this year. It was supposed to match my inerior trim but when you paint plastic and metal they have a much different finish. ![]() Lets just hope it makes it there in one piece this year. Last year I had to get towed before I was halfway there. Last year, My front pass cailper decied it hated its life and attempted to jump ship halfway to carlisle. Ever see a caliper fswing into a wheel at 80+mph not a fun thing. We did find out though that you can get a car this low onto a roll back.
