The mudflaps damage the car more? i was thinking to get some because I hate the spray off from the tires right around that area, since its so visible on my yellow... and to be honest, they make the OP's car look pretty good too.

Wonder, I would agree with Monkeygrits, the mudflaps would be great
except Fords factory mount style for the cougar sucks, so yes I have wear under
them... probably why they are still on... but at the same time they have probably protected more of the car than the damage they've caused.
