You'll want to really clean & wax the area so you don't have a shadow. You gotta think that that part of the car hasn't been exposed to the elements for 8 years. So it'll be fairly clean compared to the rest of the paint.

lookin good dude, i have to agree that the fenders take away from the car. take some fishing line or a credit card and remove the badges, it'll look sooo much cleaner. oh, and once you get it lowered it'll be teh sex for sure.
