Re: New pics w/ new kit

I like the look, but I agree, the fenders just kinda throw the lines off...

Also, you need to polish your drivers side fog light. It's hazy.

Re: New pics w/ new kit

My stock fenders are in cougar heaven now.....I hit a deer about 3-4 years ago (good old PA wildlife) and had these fenders put on. I am hoping to get some rims soon...get it lowered of course. I am stuck on where to go with the headlights. Sometimes I love the ones on there..and other times I want to change them .
I am happy with where it is right now, and will continue to add in the future!! Thanks to everybody for the comments!!

Yeah, I was going to mention that, too... even remove the V6 and the "COUGAR" lettering and it will clean up the hatch/ rear end a lot....

Have you thought about removing the Orange reflectors in the headlights?

Re: New pics w/ new kit

Some quick things you can do yourself that are cheap & easy and will totally give it a cleaner look:

- Remove trunk badging (minus the Mercury emblem). It's just stickers & adhesive tape.
- Remove ding guards on sides.
- GTS blackout tail light covers ($50)

so can you just pull those off??? will there still be an outline of the lettering after you take it off? or do you have to get it painted after removing the letters?

Just pull 'em off, clean it up with some googone and then buff the crap out of it if there is a faded outline (but usually there isn't if your car's paint has been cared for well in the past).
