The Work in Progress Cougar

This is my 99 Cougar V6...not much yet but i'm working on it...lol. Right now all i've done to it is put a Alpine Cd player in it, put some 18 inch Velox rims and brand new Kumho tires on it, and a cold air or ram air intake. I plan on putting a carbon fiber hood on it, bodykit, exhaust, suspension, and maybe the 3.0 swap. I bought this car for $900 believe it or not and it runs like a champ...it has 156,000 miles on it, but it does need some cosmetic things done to it. The front bumper is broken, the driverside headlight is cracked, the rear bumper has a spot on it, so lil pings here and there, and the sunroof currently doesnt work, but other then that the car runs and drives good. If ya have any idea's for my car shoot me a line!!!

Nice car dude, as far as mods go, I think you have a pretty good plan My sunroof broke too (right after I got the car). Keep up the good work!

Re: The Work in Progress Cougar

Thanks everybody for the responses...the car looks pretty good in the pic, but that's just cuz i'm a good photographer...lol. It needs alot of work for it to look the way i want it. The paint has scratches on it, lil dents here and there mostly where u would put side skirts...yeah i know...funny place for a dent to be, and some retard tried spray painting something and got over spray all over the side that i took the picture on...you just cant see it from the pic. Like i said though, either gonna just get a stock front bumper and back bumper or might go with the bodykit, i just havent really decided. Either way u end up spending about the same amount of money. I also need some struts all the way around cuz it's like riding in a tank or go-kart..lol. Also i need some interior stuff, cuz the woman that i got the car from had two younger kids and they did a hack job on the inside of the car. But i think once i get her going there's not going to be any stopping me on getting it pretty close to the way i want it. If ya have any pics of Cougars that would give me a good idea of how to do my car throw em my way..always looking for body and interior ideas. Thanks again!!!
