Also your lights look shiny, the "boobs". Mine are 2000's and they are not as clear and shiny plastic. looks more dull. strange because yours is 99. did you do something to make it look more glossy?

hah i gotta mention the carseats and drivers seatbelt. thats pretty funny, i mean cougars dont go that fast even if its got the 3L, but it looks sweet anyway.

The first set of taillight covers i painted myself, using a W4 paint code and the paint kit i bought from PaintScratch Touch-Up Paint (rs), Spray Cans, Spray Paint, Paint Pens, Car Paint, Automotive Paint. Second time, i just let the pros do it. (body shop).

Lights are from a 2001, so its a swap.

As far as my seats and harness... stock seats and seatbelt wont score you any points with the judges at styling shows. And besides, phase 4 of my babys transformation will no longer make it slow.

Ive been hit at 30mph, not head on, but from behind. i was stopped waiting to make a left turn on one of those roads where there is no turning lane, but what can you do except signal early and slowly slow down. i had been waiting there for a good 15 seconds for oncoming traffic to pass so i can turn when some old idiot behind me wasnt looking and hit me at 30 or 35mph. he didnt even attempt to brake since he was paying attention to his dog in the passenger seat. i was watching the cars coming and when to turn, and i guess i had my head off to the side because i did not see directly behind me in the rearview mirror at the moment, else I would have floored it if i saw him coming up fast.
anyway the hit felt like a good sized bump, my head went back into the headrest so no damage there, would have been worse if it was a hit from the front. no injury to me, the old man's dog did a front flip LOL. cute dog, not his fault that his owner was senile. actually the guy wasnt hurt at all and he was the one receiving the frontal impact. bad thing was my trunk got crunched up so the car was totaled. this wasnt in my cougar of course, or id have been pissed ;p

your plastic housing on your 99 headlights are shot. thats why it looks dull.
you can polish it up using wet sanding or plastic polish.
there are many threads covering this issue.

Taillights are identical throughout all model years, 99 through 02.
