Re: clear tail lights

I think its kinda neat. the fact that you said "hey i'm gonna do this b/c i can" good on you.

honestly though, i personally would prefer a more low profile tail light for my tastes. just like what that assy guy is doing, but again props for diong what YOU wanted to do.

i too would like more detailed pictures so i can check out the actual work done.

and don't let what the rest of us say bother you. you don't need our validation, its your car. but you did ask what they think and they are being honest.

Re: clear tail lights

deff different . too each there own. i am partial to the light covers and tinting. but i see your trying for chrome lights since your 01-02 are stock an the rears match.

I do agree the eclispse lights fit better than the accord lights.

Re: clear tail lights

I don't like them. They might look better on a different color as someone mentioned.

Re: clear tail lights

I wonder if this would look good on my white cougar. i got the aussie chromed silver headlights and they looks freekin amazing on my cougar against the white. but still for tail lights those may be too flashy even on a white car. whered u get those? or what did you modify?

Re: clear tail lights

It's not my cup of tea but like the others said each to his own. Some people said my car sounds like a blender (no one on here) but I love it.

Re: clear tail lights

Personally, I have never been a huge fan of euro tails. But to each their own. And at least you put the work in to make 'em fit, as apposed to every other honda driver with bolt on $50 euro's...

Again, get some better pics. I judge based on 3 things, creativity, fit, and finish. Right now, you've got good points for creativity, but I cant really judge on the other 2 right this second.

Edit: And why is it I love that orange cougar? I dont know why, but I do!

Re: clear tail lights

Well from those pics I would say it looks like ****. But I can't really tell how well you fitted them in there. Perhaps if you got some larger clearer pictures. But personally the fake chrome is tacky as hell. Crack them open and paint the chrome black like the newer tC's and maybe....wtf am i saying nah go get some stocks on there and call it a win.

Re: clear tail lights

Momo yeah, that looks good. I guess thats probably what Im gonna do, and paint it W4 white, correct? where did you go to paint it or did you do it yourself/was it hard? any kind of finish to put over the paint?

Also your lights look shiny, the "boobs". Mine are 2000's and they are not as clear and shiny plastic. looks more dull. strange because yours is 99. did you do something to make it look more glossy?

hah i gotta mention the carseats and drivers seatbelt. thats pretty funny, i mean cougars dont go that fast even if its got the 3L, but it looks sweet anyway.

Re: clear tail lights

Hey ColdONE. A head on crash at 30mph can kill you if you are not properly restrained. A sharp turn at 40 can be more than enough to slide you out of your seat. I would say Momo's seats and harness are deffinantly not out of place in that car.
