lol it's not like I put DJ gear IN my car....that was my old one lol I didn't really permanently, just for a gag on youtube but here's the vid anyway:

If you want to sort of hear what a similar system sounds like you can check out my old one, which btw makes this one look a hell of a lot better I really gave no effort at all to hiding wires or making it look good. and I forgot to address an earlier comment. You can't see it but it's all bolted down and secured to the frame. Every moving piece is secured, even the satellites. And I've tested it up to a 35 to 0 stop as fast as I could and a 25 MPH turn and they didn't budge. I'm not stupid FFS

OH AND ALSO
I think the z-5300's are technically a home theater line. They're a bit overkill for computers. If you're about to post that car audio sounds better than home theater sound, I'll drive to your house personally and slash your cougar's tires lol.

Oh and speaking of the back seat and you all owning Cougars...haven't you ever tried to sit in the back seat?!?! If you say "yeah, what's the problem?" you must be 5 feet tall. They're completely unuseable. Oh and with my "computer speakers" you can hear the song word for word with the windows closed at 60 feet and over 300 feet with the windows open.

The problem isn't the SOUND quality... the problem is that there are computer speakers (LOTS of Computer Speakers) filling the entire back seat! LOL

That neon in the trunk was hilarious to me beacause it was bridged across both seats, so if you were to fold down one it would break. Then again you cant fold down your seats because there is a logitec demo in the back seat!

Oh comon Micah, you KNOW it would be hilarious to see 8 speakers and a subwoofer superglued to the dash with wires running through the holes of the steering wheel and shoved down the vents to the HVAC.


It would be extremely sad at the same time now that I think about it.

yes you obviously are from wisconsin. I'd recognize that mix of humor with lack of common sense anywhere. That is a damn funny video.

you were looking for input on your trunk idea. personally I would say dont do it, concentrate on conceiling those speakers. 95% of this flame thread will dissapear if you wired up those speakers discretely.

if they have such a slim profile, why dont you try to mold them into the A and C pillars or the headliner?

I have no problem with you audio setup other than the way you present it.

It's cropped out for a reason. It's not nearly that fancy. it's more of a "Let's see how this sounds" experiment than an actual, let's install speakers on the dash kinda thing. I just did it like a week ago. It sounds way better so I'm working on a way to mount it somewhere nicer.

Oh and densenvill, i was thinking about building one super nice, custom painted enclosure for all the speakers. Then everyone would be all like "ZOMG 19 drivers with dedicated tweeters and semi-mids and a mid and a sub!" but that was waaaaay more much effort than I wanted to put into it at the time.
