Whats the difference between US and Euro tail lights?
They come with the darker color plastic by default? (i cant really tell but it looks like dark red to black even). they also seem more shiny than the dull looking plastic on my 2000 US tails.

And of course, where can you order Euro cougar tail lights? ive searched the net before and could not find a site to buy.

mate the diff i assume yours are red except the revers part we in the uk have amber red white they seem shiner to me but couldn't tell if you there mad that way like??

also you would have to ask some of us uk cougar owners down in the bottom of the forum or for sale adds and ask to swap yours for our mate

in europe, it is illegal to have red as a turn signal light... so its either amber or white. So, europe cougar tail will have amber insert for the turn signal light.

Does the plastic appear amber in color, or only when the light is on? cuz if it does, that would look hella cool compared to the basic red/red rear US cougar lights.

edit: answered my own question, checked out the UK cougar threads and saw the pics. now that is kind of odd looking with half of the plastic being yellow, and half red. also why in gods name the blinker is the inside light of the 2 i have no idea. it would look much better if it was the entire light which was yellow and the outside one of course. then i would consider getting it but the way it is currently, blech.
however they do appear more shiny for sure, including the plastic around the lights. mine is a very dull light red color, looks like cheap plastic. i will get tail covers to hide it and possibly buff the lights part with a wet soft buffer (i had bought such a thing once to buff out my old headlights which were in bad condition).
