If anyone can get me some or knows where to get these let me know, I am in need of the UK buttons (the one with the window defroster buttons on it and traction control and a flashing alarm light)
thanks

RE:WTB: UK ford cougar dash buttons

there physically the same except your buttons have at there best 1 extra functional button! I have pictures too compare them! and I don't think it would be TOO expensive, seen as the switch in the US with just the defroster and the traction control buttons being functional on them is only 48 bux!
Heres the pics however to give you an idea of what I need!

Heres the US one with just the flashing alarm piece, the traction control and the defroster button (that is the most you can get in the US because the other button you guys have is for your unique temperature thing thats only in european/asian cougars!)

Here's the UK one with the flashing alarm piece, the traction control, the random button that I have no clue what it does and the defrost button!

At night (switched to blue with LED's)

During The day!

Sorry for the crappy ones of the UK ones, no one on CougarDB has any good pics of them I wen't through every profile on the UK chapeter and the Euro chapter and these were the best! If you have the 3 button piece in yours could you take me some pics? my e-mails snowboarding_bc@hotmail.com thanks!

RE: WTB: UK ford cougar dash buttons

Hi,

I've recently bough one of these in the UK for £21.91. I got it from www.fordpartsuk.com . The middle button is used to switch on the front screen de-mister and heated washer jets.

RE:WTB: UK ford cougar dash buttons

sweet, I wish we had front screen demisters and stuff lol! I think if I ever get enough money I think I'd go buy my-self a german cougar and do it out, that way I'd still have right hand drive but I'd have all the euro specs like your cool digital temperature regulator or w/e you call it lol! I won't be using either the traction control or the front demister for there purposes though, I just want to have a very stock looking hiden button seen as my car doesn't need the demister and I don't have traction control on this cougar! (RIP to my 99 Cougar) lol so yah I'd probably hook my halos up to one of them and then unless I could find something better (which I probably would I'd hook my neons up to the other, but it would leave them looking completely 100% stock built and I think that would be sweet to have!

RE: WTB: UK ford cougar dash buttons

They don't really show much stuff on the web-site for cougars. Give them an e-mail. Basically, if Ford (and it's subsidiaries) have made it, they can find it. I think they do a discount for the UK Cougar Owners Club, so mention NECO and you may get a few pennies off.
