How many Cougars sold in UK/Ireland?

I asked in one of the general categories on how many RHD Cougars made. So far, got a number of almost 900 sold in Australia. I would like to know is how many Cougars (all with RHD) were sold in UK and Ireland.

I was told by the Ford garage that there was around 12, 000 Cougars sold here, 500 of which were Cougar 2.

you can check stats like this with the dvla give them a ring

Madmale, I am in the US, so don't know how would contact your motor vehicle licensing agency, if have to pay fees, ect. Active, your answer makes sense, from the other data I have got.

So if for US 1999-2002 model year Cougars in UK, about 12,000-12,500 units. In Australia, about 900 units sold. Still need info for any other countries, but that would suggest a total of about 13,000-14,000 RHD units.
