Is my clutch on its way out?

I pulled out fairly quickly yesterday and expected the car to wheelspin a bit. It didn't and it didn't seem to pull as I expected. I did it again later on that day and it seems as though the clutch is slipping a bit. It only seems to do this in first gear though. If you rev it and drop the clutch in 5th then the revs drop quickly. Is this normal or is the clutch on its way out?

Re: Is my clutch on its way out?

when your driving your car next , pull away in 1st and then change up to 2nd , but when you change gear floor the accelerator , if the engine makes loads of noise and you dont pick up much speed then your clutch is stuffed and its time to dig deep and wait for a shock when you take it to a garage
