Forum policy

For the most part this forum is being kept on track. However, this will lay out the rules for post editing or removal while I moderate this forum.

Not allowed:
1. Threads with usefull information not related to this forum will be moved.

2. Threads with no bearing on TUNING and CALIBRATION and without usefull information will just be deleted...no appologies.

3. No cross-posting.

4. Post with excessive cursing, attacks on people, in general bad behavior will not be tolerated. No excessive attempts to defeat the censor. I or other moderators will determine what is "excessive" and edit or delete accordingly.

5. Nothing that violates the posted Forum Policies you agreed to when you signed on to newcougar.org

What is Allowed?
1. Aggressively supporting or attacking an argument is welcome as long as it is in some way pertaining to the thread topic.

2. Defending oneself from a personal slander/attack as long as it does not escalate the argument or violate #4 & #5 above. Proportionality is the key here. DO NOT drag it out post after post!! Rebuttals should be quick and to the point and then move back on topic.

It's all about healthy debate!

Some of you may wonder why I outlined subpolicies when Fastcougar has a nice discussion posted already. Well people forget what they haven't read in a while. This is at the top of the forum as a reminder. It also further refines what is allowable in the so-called Gray Area pertaining to conflicts and arguments, and what I define as an appropriate measure for a specific type of post. More or less a fleshing out of moderator policy in this forum while conforming to the Administrator policies above it.
