have either a dyno shop do it or nautaulis performance do it. it is litterally clicking a box in the program

thank you Kymi, but I somehow have to dissagree about what is sent to the PCM, it may not be direct, but things like if the airbag deploys, doesnt that also effectively cut off fuel to the engine? That if the alarm is going off that it will kill the car after 30 seconds or so.

and good call about an ODBCII scanner to check some things. I do have an autotap, I didnt even think of trying that.

Hey Terry, you would know better than I - if I have DeWayne kill all the emissions related stuff will I still be able to pass emissions testing here? I'm contemplating registering my cars at my parents' place so I don't have to deal with it, but that seems like a bit of a hassle.

no, there should be no reason that your car wouldnt pass. technically their job is just to look at weither any CODES are thrown.

worse case scenerio, just do what I do and go every day until you get a lazy employee who doesnt care and passes you reguardless.


oh add that to the list of things that can be turned off, the fuel vapor canister thing under the spare tire.
