Turbo tuning 2.5L returnless...3L parts???
...wondering since my goal is roughly around 210-215whp/tq on 5lbs of boost....can I just use like 3L injectors w/a 3L MAF or something?? the tuning of the duratec is still clear as mud due to the lack of a "illiterate beginners tuning FAQ" what are ALL my options for tuning...
-SCT is one I know of -S-AFC and bigger injectors -3L Injectors/MAF to compensate for the boost on a 2.5L mayble???? ![]() -Or put the turbo set up on....take it to get a custom chip burned? With bigger injectors?? Just tryna tune this returnless and know of ALL my options...I really dont want to spend like $600+ on a module then pay for tuning(yea yea I know boost and budget i still wanna save if possible)....thanks alot

One to look at that is promoted here is the xcal2 worth having a good read on the tuning ability the "prp" package provides if you want to tune yourself, of course if you do tht yourself then make sure you have a plx m300 or lc-1 wideband on board to interpret what is happening. SCT Flash Devices - MORE Power . . . Period! Nautilus performance has those, and can provide custom tunes for them based on datalogs etc. Nautilus Performance Group There is also The TwEECer -- EEC-IV user programmable module hope this helps Just noticed in your first post that you indicated you were aware of the SCT, really as far as I know if you wish to program yourself they are the better options as it makes changes within the pcm, rather than intercepting an input/output of some kind like the Emanage and other piggy back type systems. Of course I am not aware of the actual workings of these as non of the above work for my vehicle, unless I go through rewiring so for me it is emanage...

And obviously I will use a wideband, anyone tuning with out one is a fool looking for trouble. I am partial to the LC-1s as they are cheap, reliable, and can just be used in place of the stock sensor (3 outputs, 2 programmable analog) Thanks for the info |
