Mtx-75 Parts Help

I was hoping someone could help me with some tranny issues, [not the dress up kind] I have searched all over this sight, great site btw, lots of info, but can`t find the info I need. I have a 2001 v6 ZN. My diff is junk, spyder/ ring gears smashed. Case looks ok. I see a lot of info about LSD`s, but nothing about stock replacement. Don`t need or want to spend money on upgrade, just want to get back on road. Already have tranny out. [nice setup btw] Are stock parts available? price? The parts guys/salvage yards are telling me there are 3 different trannys. True? If so, are they all considered MTX-75`S ? I took these numbers off the tranny, 1S8R-7002EB 8A45 03000 Whats the cheapest way out, new gears? replace tranny? Who sells parts? Keep in mind, car will not be abused or modded. Not crazy about putting in used tranny I don`t know anything about, to much labor to do twice. But don`t want to spend $700 on LSD I don`t need. I`m from MASS. Any advice/info would be appriciated, Thanks

Re: Mtx-75 Parts Help

just do a google search for a tranny shop near you.
if you are not going to do any performance upgrade to your transaxle, your best bet is your local shop.
Better yet, you may be able to find a deal from your local salvage yard and pick up a used one at a reasonable price.

good luck.
