I have a 99 ATX 2.5 (05/21/98) which decided to destroy itself at 174K by breaking the drive chain and ventilating the transfer case while running 75MPH down I-40. Since a rebuild is out of the question, which CD4E tranny will work for a direct replacement? Original tranny code is : F83P-CA. Will either of the following work? F83P-CB, F83P-CC, XS7P-AB, XS7P-AA.Thanks in advance for any and all assistance, |

Re: Please Help!!! Tranny Gurus!!!
PM aircougar1, he may be able to help both of you. He has done several ATX to MTX / MTX to ATX swaps. Oh and shiezer, ATX to MTX swaps are popular here...it only took me a few minutes to find out aircougar1 has experience with those and for future reference, you WILL get flamed for not doing your due diligence (searching) before posting.
