Saleen Cougar .....

Okay well Im going to call you out on this. I really didnt want it to get to this point but I have really no communication from you so we will see where this goes. Well it starts on 04/14/08 when Saleen says he has an st200 strut bar for sale. I said I will buy it and pay him paypal on the same day. I still havent recieved or really heard anything from him. About 2 weeks ago he said he messed up on postage or something and it wasnt sent, instead of refunding the money I would rather have the strut bar and told him. Its now to this date and I havent heard from him in a week or so. I know hes in the military and is busy but if you really dont have the product just say so and refund my full amount or send me the bar your choice. Im hoping you see this and it does get resolved since we cant catch each other on AIM. Thanks

More of the same from this deadbeat human being... I would expect nothing less from saleen cougar. He has a list of complaints on this board a mile long.

He has a buyer beware tag and can't even sell in the FS sections. I wanna say something about personal accountability, but we can only go so far to protect you people.

Should we now disallow selling items in chapters now? Funnel everything through FS and have them make a note it's for local buyers only?

I don't think that gives the seller the green light to be a bad seller though... (and probably just should not be using NECO to sell off parts at all) and put the blame on a buyer for trusting that he would do what is agreed upon, like shipping something that money was accepted for.

I just want to get his attention and maybe we can work something out. I know all of his tags he gave me a lengthy explanation about them. After reading the forums alittle more on him though I saw a lot more then he explained to me. I would just like an answer from him and also either the money back or the product.

hell u live close enough for him, he lives in LA area. but his car is/was in michigan.

i talked to him on yahoo and he said he refunded you. he is working and i told him to get on here after he got off of work

He lives within 2 miles of me actually. He tried to arrange a meet here in SD but nothing has come into fruition. Perhaps because of his legacy on the forums. I never met the guy personally.

Just a note, I think quite a few sales go through PM's and never go on public record. I've posted in the WTB section several times and I get PM's instead of replies in the thread.

I'm not saying you all aren't doing a great job policing because you are, I was simply commenting.
