Ok, I am a little ticked off that this kid has been ducking me for the last 3 months. I sold him a Buddy Club front bumper at my Meet that I held at the end of Spring.

He first had said he would pay me at the meet, but wasn't able to, and promised to send the money via Paypal in less than a week, but I said "TAKE IT" anyway, because i really needed the space...( I know, I know, not the greatest idea, but he said it in front of about 6 people, so i had witnesses)

At least twice a month for the last 3 months, I had PM'd him, and he either said it would be sent, or I would see he was Browsing the forum, but he was just ignoring the PMs...

I am not so worried about $40 (which BTW is extremely cheap for a relatively new bumper with gel coat still on it!!!), its the fact that I have seen him offer up deals to other NECO members, and I don't want to see him do the same thing to them...

Not a trustworthy person at all... I would stay away if I were you.

Today, 6 months later after I made this thread, this kid sends me a PM saying the bumper "sucks anyway".. and that's all he says.

Look on his Myspace page and he has the bumper installed on his Cougar (01 DTG) still in White Gelcoat!!!

What a dumb little kid!

the bumper thats installed on my car now is a new one thank you i bought this one brand new.... yes its the same one but not the exact one... would u like to see a pic of that ****in POS cougar now??? its sitting on the side of my house with NO BUMPER and a broken axel. that bumper wasnt worth anything. before i even took it it already was cracked on the bottom... which i supposed wat made the rest of it crack in half therefor is now at the dump somewhere....it was never worth anything the day i got it...

Then give Greg the one on your car since you just took it and didn't pay for it, and instead of giving it back you tossed it. Or give him the $40 since you DID take the bumper after seeing it during the meet, which I witnessed.

Lay off the pot for a week and maybe you'll come up with the cash.

You purchased a bumper, now you need to pay for it. What you did with it, or what happened after it entered your hands has absolutely NOTHING to do with the fact that you said you'd pay him.

Now gain some dignity and pay the 40 bucks dude.

Here is his response I just got, which is partially what he stated above:

its actually in the garbage due to it crackin down the middle very shortly after installin it. thats y i said **** payin for it.. im not gonna pay for something that is broke anyway... the holes didnt even match up so i had to drill ALL new holes. and i was told in order to get it painted i had to do alot of fiberglass repairing to fix it. so i threw it away.


I responded with the fact that everyone knows he is lying. witnesses saw him take the bumper and agree to pay for it. That the bumper isn't actually FIBERGLASS, but DURAFLEX, which can take quite a beating before it cracks or breaks, like he says it did.

he mounted it on the car. PERIOD. days after he took it from me, he posted up pics of his car in the Photoshop section showing the bumper on the car and how it would look. He cried that he didn't have $$ to pay me for the bumper, and weeks went by with the same crying, because he lost his job...
HOW IN THE HELL could you afford to buy a BRAND NEW bumper like that if you couldn't even pay me $40 ??? Those bumpers brand new cost well over $200 shipped...

that statement alone proves that aircougar1 is owed money. You broke it, you need to pay for it. As for the point that the holes didn't match up, welcome to the word of aftermarket products, the set of F1 fenders I recieved had NO HOLES, the Z3 fenders I had had the WRONG HOLES.
