Pimpin' Out a new Ford Fusion

Well since the coug is going to be in the shop for awhile (hail damage & break-in damage repair)...my insurance gave me a rental. It's a brand-new Ford Fusion. It only had 100 miles on it. I hadn't even seen 1 of these cars yet really, & I kinda like it. It'd def. a base model rental, but even the 4-cyli has some get-up. I'm actually enjoying driving something different, if only for a lil while.

So if you see a maroon Fusion driving 100 mph down National...that's me! lol

I don't mind them. They look pretty good done up from the photos I've seen.

They have the new 3.5l in them right?

WooHoo! Rockin the Fusion. They're not bad. I don't think they have a 3.5L? could be wrong. I drove one of the 3L V6's and it had quite a bit of pep. The I4's are 2.3L? I believe. I wouldn't trade in my cougar for one though.

Yeah..I think that's right. 2.3.

No way, the coug is way nicer looking. But I think I'm getting old b/c I like the ease of a 4-door. It's kind of scaring me that I'm even DRIVING a 4-door, much less liking it! lol!

Re: Pimpin' Out a new Ford Fusion

I like the Fusion too. I really like the other two sedans as well, the Milan and the Zypher. But I especially like the Milan, because the're a little more distinctive-looking over the Fusion. What I really love on the Milan is the interior, with its brushed aluminum accents.

What really gets to me is how the automotive press is snubbing these three sedans. It just shows how import-biased the automotive press really is. The're always saying it's nice but it's not good enough. Those three sedans should be winning awards.
