Well would you like the statistics of my wifes 00 or my 83? screw it ill give you both.

-700 cfm carb
-shorty headers
-true-dual exhaust, 40 series flowmasters
-FULL MSD ignition (box, coil, distributor, wires, plugs)
-7 row aluminum radiator
-underdrive pulleys
-TCI built c-4 transmission with 2500 stahl, reverse manual valve body
-ford 9-inch rear with detroit locker and 4:10 gears

Belive it or not, they weigh the same amount as a fox-body mustang. They are built on the exact same chassis as the 83-93 fox's and share every drivetrain component. Mine weighs a considerable amount less though, cause i gutted the interior. and right now im having fuel problems, shes starving at high RPM's. BUT she did run like a scalded dog. Thats the main probalem with having high-HP motors, they get touchy after about 400.

Im not a big fan of the newer body styles because of the lack of performance parts available and alot of the constant problems ford had with them. (IE the alternators being mounted in a HORRIBLE place on the 2.5's, the sunroofs being gay, EGR valves going left ad right) And i also dont like the fact that i had to take off the upper intake to change my spark plugs.

My wife LOVES hers though, i actually put a set of those white gauge faces in it last night, they look good.
