True, but they are worth mentioning because they show up on the market now and again. The ST200 is superior to the Mirko bar but is not a good choice for autocross because it will put you in a much higher class.

FYI, Bradness @ CEG makes tubular toe arms, boxed main arms, and subframe connectors. He also makes a torque brace he calls the "Street Link" which replaces the stab-o-shock installed on the SVT Contour between the motor and the tranny.

I just ran across these, I don't think they have been mentioned before.

Re: Suspension FAQ (Read This First)

Anybody know what type of grease is best for the sway bar bushings? I've heard people use white lithium grease, but that doesn't last long enough.

Re: Suspension FAQ (Read This First)

F5RZ 18198 is supposed to be the strut mount part number. But when i order my parts from a ford dealership i got F5RZ 18198 AA. Will these work? They look like the part in the picture but i just want to make sure.

AA is just a revision number.

Bolt Sizes

JScullin posted the bolt head sizes in another thread, but I thought I would add the bolt sizes and threads, which is handy if you need to replace a bolt, nut, or clean up the threads on your existing bolts and nuts with a tap-and-die set.

M12 x 1.75
Ball joint pinch bolt
Strut pinch bolt

M12 x 1.25
Strut top

M10 x 1.5
Brake hose brace
Endlink ends
Tie Rod

Re: Suspension FAQ (Read This First)

Whenever I go to AutoZone to borrow the tools needed to replace the half-shafts, the clerk fails to find them in the computer and denies that they exist, so hopefully this will prevent that problem for you all:

Top Row
Tie Rod Splitter OEM27022
32mm Socket OEM27051/OEM27053
Flange Axle FWD puller OEM27037

Middle Row
Breaker Bar (Optional but helpful)

Bottom Row
Slide hammer OEM27033
FWD axle puller adapter (attached to slide hammer) OEM27022

I just use regular bearing grease. I tried white lithium, but was disappointed.
