Lower and smoother ride?
I am still stock, but I find the ride a bit harsh on bumps... I was thinking to lower about 1.5" or so (not coilovers), is there any way I could also get a more smooth ride as well as have it lowered?

Re: Lower and smoother ride?
u dont have to but lowering a car eats the shocks up and no matter what spring u put it will make a rougher and stiffer ride. i have the b+g's on mine and they arent to bad

Re: Lower and smoother ride?
My friend George dropped his Cougar on Eibach springs with Koni Yellow struts, set to full soft. He also used a 55-sidewall tire. His car rides like a Cadillac, and the rears are TUCKING.

well.. i got ebach pro kit with sensatrac struts and the car is harder than when i had it stock. it does handles and takes curves like a ferrari
but it is way far from riding like a cadillac . anyways i like it but as far as i know lowering a car no matter what springs and struts u put on it will be always a harder ride than stock.

Re: Lower and smoother ride?
Well with the Koni's which are an expencive strut you can make it ride really nice just like B3NN3TT said, its just how much you want to spend. ebach springs do a 1" drop all around. I have Intrax springs and stock struts and it rides pretty good I guess a little bumpy but you get used to it.
"Rears are tucking" means that the rear wheels are tucking into the rear wheel well. I'll see if I can find a pic for ya
