01-02 ground contols on a 99

Ok i tried to research this and got confused. Some people say you can do it without replacing anything, and some people say you can with certain parts. I also read you cant do it at all. What exactly do i need to make this work?? Or can it be done at all?

Edit- sorry i meant to put this in the suspension section

ground control/eibach makes the coilovers year specific. But ive read there is a certain part or parts i need to make it work.

Andy mentions the part needed. You need the rear springhats from a 99/00.

Which since you already have a 99 or 00....that isn't a problem.

Re: 01-02 ground contols on a 99

I just put Konis and GCs on mine, so I just went through this.

You will use the rear top seats...the ones that bolt to the car.

In the front, you will NOT use the strut bearing, but rather the McMaster Carr bearings and washers listed in the Suspension FAQ.
