Re: D2 Coilover Damper Kit
when i run the 16's with the V710's i have very little clearance on the back and i mean barely. but with the 18's i dont have any problems. I need to raise mine up higher cause i have some rubbing issues on the back (on the outside) but thats with a trunk load of stuff and the car weighed down and hitting bumps
didnt have any issues with the knuckles though

Re: D2 Coilover Damper Kit
It might have just not had enough machined off the front perches. As for the rear, they are barely not touching. I will be going with longer studs in the rear and spacers. Otherwise the coilovers were cake to install. No spring compressors are needed. Also the fronts come with a 1/4 spacer on top of the coilover that is not needed.

Re: D2 Coilover Damper Kit
tuckin tire in the front and rears still have an inch of wheel gap. Still dialing everything in to be honest. Downpipe is almost kissing the ground.

Re: D2 Coilover Damper Kit
ya the farthers I was compfortable raising the front was a little over a finger of gap.
I never had a problem with the rears because my rears are still sitting ABOVE stock ride height [I guess if I ever wanted to do anything competitive with the car, I'd lose the 4" rake I have going... but until then, it simply looks too badass... plus when dropped I simply cant get a jack under it with the subframe connectors]. but topik, keep us updated on the spacers/studs. I NEED SOME. forgot about that, but my wheel clearance is just a tad too close to be compfortable [but no rubbing]. also be careful that the brake lines are secured that they dont get caught between the strut and the wheel. I had that happen once.

Re: D2 Coilover Damper Kit
I will. I still have alot of dialing in to do still and will update. Especially will be fun figuring out if my slicks will work. haha

Re: D2 Coilover Damper Kit
it is a lot of trial. i raised the rears up an inch tonight. drove around the neighborhood, which is rough with the slicks in the trunk. no rubbing in the rear. have a couple weeks till the next event though, so who knows what will happen with the slicks on course
