Re: D2 Coilover Damper Kit

Ok FYI the d2-f19's appear to come with 5.2 front and 5.1 rear spring rates from erzperformance.com where you can get these 880 shipped. The gentlemen I spoke with says its very easy to have stiffer or softer springs made however you must provide the model number as the f19s are updated compared to the original d2's which are f16's IIRC. Correct me if im wrong XRtony.

p.s. I will be trying out these spring rates to see how they ride for info purposes and I will be switching to a stiffer rate for the cars new setup.

Looky looky...

I'll be putting them in within the next few days hopefully. Don't worry I'll take plenty of pictures.

Re: D2 Coilover Damper Kit

So the d2's are on the car now. Ran into a few issues im not sure you others have run into. First thing I ran into was the rear tires touching the bottom perch lock nut. I am running rota slip streams and wide tires so its possible thats why. Secondly the front coilovers wouldnt even fit into the knuckles without spreading the knuckle pinch area severely. A few other little glitches. Pictures will be added when the car is done(rear wheel spacers, new endlinks, etc etc.)

Re: D2 Coilover Damper Kit

I didn't. The front struts took bit of persuading, but I didn't need to do significant spreading to get them in the knuckle. I have minimal clearance on the rear tire, but it is a positive clearance (225/50/16 Ecsta V710s on stock wheels and 225/45/17 Ecsta MXs on 17x7.5 Kosei K1 Racings).
