In the diagram image on that site it makes it look like those are the Koni struts that come perchless???

Speaking of which, where the hell can you find a site that sells them perchless for GC Coils???

Re: Koni's VS kyb?

Cutting off the spring perches on Koni's voids the warranty, so I'm pretty sure you cannot buy them with them cut off. You're better off doing or getting it done yourself.

Please give a link to this thread you speak of.

A Jetta is a totally different car. Nuff' said.

My point being, KYB's are NOT better than Koni's. Unless you have your own personal experience with both of them, please do not post false information.

I've seen the same thing being posted several times by veteran forum members but no one seems to have any model numbers so I don't think they exist.

Re: Koni's VS kyb?

They dont exist. I called koni the last time I read my 5th discussion on this same topic. Nor does GC cut the perches off and keep the struts warrantied. I called those guys too. I really wish people would stop it with this topic already...

Re: Koni's VS kyb?

I e-mailed KONI but didnt hear back, so I too was going to call and find out once and for all. I guess it was just a rumour... The reason I thought they existed was the same reason why blustreak did, we read posts from experienced NECO members stating they can be found..

Now we know the truth!
