Koni's VS kyb?
Gonna get struts for when i put coil-overs on. Wondering what you guys would recommend. Im not much of a hard core driver but i wanna get my moneys worth.
kyb's would run about 70 each+ shipping. around 300$ for all 4 Koni's are about 160-180 each+ shipping. around 500-600$ for all 4 is the 100$ more each worth the koni's? or does anyone know where i can find them a little cheaper. Thanks |

you get what you pay for...
nothing is more important than your brakes, and your suspension. Don't be cheap... especially if you are already dropping the cash on coil-overs...

And remember, when you change your shocks you also need an alignment.

Re: Koni's VS kyb?
Hi, I have another question. I bought Eibach springs and I want to know what would be better for them. The Monroe Sensatrac or the KYB struts. KYB are a little more expensive but they are about the same. It's my daily driver so I want my car to be a little more lower and to handle better thats all. thanks

Re: Koni's VS kyb?
Welcome to the forums. The KYBs have a good reputation as a solid stock replacement...they don't add much in the way of performance. I'm sure the Monroe wouldn't either. Based on the reputation, I'd go with the KYBs.
I <3 my Eibachs...you'll love them. |

Re: Koni's VS kyb?
I always heard that KYB struts where junk on our cars. I would go to BAT and get there struts, they are alittle firmer and will work great with lowering springs.

Re: Koni's VS kyb?
not unless you plan to run ground controls with over a 2 inch drop .... but have an alignment done and see if it needs it.
