Hey guys i thought i would post something on the new thread. So what is new with your cougars and what is bad with them. Well I took my car to the track to see what it was going to run and on the second run my car started to spatter out and the check engine light went on so now it is sitting in my drive way with no one to drive it. I decide to get it fixed then store it away for the winter. Do you guys know of any good places to take my car to get inspected I always take it to the mercury dealer but they rape me all the time on prices. let me know!!

What up, I guess people dont come here too much anymore. Sux to hear about your car actin up. Stop goin to the mercury dealerships because they do jack you in price. Try finding a reputable shop in your area that does good work and charges a fair price. Did you get the code read from the CEL cause maybe you can fix the problem yourself if you find out whats causing it. Im sure you can get help from members on here on what could be the problem.

I read a post on here not to long ago with a member having the same problem as me and other members said to change the DPFE sensor so that is what i am going to do and i hope that takes care of the problem.

Just getting ready to raise the cat up for the winter. I want to buy a beater for the winter but until then this is the winter cruise mobile.
