Somewhere to buy parts in Denver?

Hey All - I did a little trouble-shooting on my sunroof last night and I think my problem may be that the motor relay has burned out. I'm hoping I can find someone who has the motor relay in stock and see if that fixes my problem. Any one have a suggestion on a good place to shop for such a small, uncommon part?

Thanks!

RE: Somewhere to buy parts in Denver?

Thanks to Miguel (mexcoug), I found Denver Ford Parts, Ltd. They didn't have my part unfortunately, but very helpful. He gave me the number for about 8 other places to call that he showed had Cougars in their yards. Their info:

Denver Ford Parts, Ltd.

RE: Somewhere to buy parts in Denver?

Thanks for the suggestion, Sam. I called Stadium and they didn't have any Cougars with sunroofs.

I finally found a relay at a place in Kansas. I just got the part and tried installing and the roof made a quick noise and then killed again, just like it did the first time. So, it would appear my motor is blowing the ($200) relay and I now get to buy both parts and see if that works. This is stupid. I just want to sell the car, there's got to be a better way to get this damn sunroof closed!

RE: Somewhere to buy parts in Denver?

So, here's the conclusion to this story:

When removing my carbon fiber hood and reinstalling the stock hood, I found out I had a ground to the hood that I hadn't correctly grounded when I installed the carbon fiber hood. With the ground properly attached, my foglights started working again, as did the sunroof temporarily - I got it to shut half-way before it killed again.

I found a yard in Missouri that sold me the sunroof motor and relay for $150 plus shipping. Swapped everything out and it worked no problem. I then tried my "extra" relays - the one that came stock and the one from KS, and they both worked with the new motor. So, now I've got two $200 relays sitting in my garage.

Moral of the story? Being stupid with a ground cost me a sunroof motor and hours of frustration trying to figure out why my foglights weren't working. All other electrical gremlins also seem to be gone.
