As it is, you probably won't get any sympathy here, except from me.

When I was 17, got clocked doing 97 in a 50 ( I'll do the math, 47 over). Needlessly to say, I lost my license for 30 days, paid $100, and had 5 points on my license.

Let's just say I learned my lesson and didn't get another speeding ticket for two years. And technically, that ticket was a load of **** (sister's coog w/ no speed, midnight, and a speed trap).

Hopefully you learn yours too. If your gonna speed, at least keep it to the country back roads where there's nobody else and no cops, so you're free to kill only yourself if you **** up. I'm known to throttle it, but never anymore near any other cars.

ive only gotten clocked 2x doing something stupid like that... once was 98 in a 50 in my coug, nothing happened, bc my dad is a cop in that town... (still scared the hell out of me)

and the other was in VA, in my old camaro, doing 110 in a 55 at like 3 am... all of a sudden lights appeared next to me, and it was another camaro... cop pulled me over, saw I was a marine, said he used to be one too... and then thanked me for getting to finally open up the camaro that the VA state police had just given him lol... said slow down a bit and have a good night and off I went...

the one in the camaro was when I was 18, the coug incident was when I was 19...

looking back, I got lucky...
