Re: Me vs. Impala

I had a buddy who is a brooklyn cop that i knocked out when he thought it would be funny to pull his gun on me. People don't have to put up with police that think they can do whatever they feel like. It's a job not a birthright to do whatever you want.

Personally when people fly up my ass like that I just slow down more. I have even done it to cops as well.

Re: Me vs. Impala

haha, how awesome would a break check have been. Because as far as i remember, doesn't matter if the cop did it, theres no reason for him to be too close to stop

thats how you get business done

Re: Me vs. Impala

its the best when cops smash their cars...how embarrassing....couple of my buddies were pulling some super troopers moves on a car they thought was a friend and lost control and totalled a patrol car at like 90....they blamed it on a deer and managed to get away with it.

Re: Me vs. Impala

A break check would've landed me in jail for reckless driving, reckless endangerment, destruction of gov. property, and maybe some other BS.
Still no phone call from the police yet. I doubt I'll get one, so I'm going to be presistnat and call every day until I either get an explanation of his actions or get to testify against him so he gets suspended. And the kicker is, there's another witness.

Re: Me vs. Impala

Haha nice on the witness thing
as far as the break checking... no it wouldn't..
plead that an animal (bunny or something) jumped in front of you and you slammed the breaks... this is why they have legal following distances, and I'm pretty sure kentucky has one too. Check your local laws, because i'm pretty sure a break check is easy to get away with...

well, thats how i got my cougar at least

In our book, the set rules of driving it says if an animal runs out in front of your car do not swerve or break, run the animal over (after all, it is Kentucky and hot meals are hard to come by )

Yeah, good luck with that.

If I understand your original paragraph that was uninterrupted by paragraph breaks, the cop went into your lane without looking and nearly clipped you. Did he hit you? No? Then get over it - this happens to me probably once a month (not usually with cops, but cutting people off is the Official Sport Of The DC Area Roads).

Did you even blow the horn to let him know? I bet he's not going to even know that it happened. Your complaint will do nothing because he won't remember what you're talking about. At most you might get a generic apology.

By the way everyone, it's a brake check. Not a "break" check.

Re: Me vs. Impala

I had someone riding my ass in the far right lane yesterday. I was doing 70 in a 65 and this guy had the balls to be so close I couldn't see his headlights. So I gave him a real nice brake check at which point he switched lanes got along side of me and starts yelling. Then the duesche bag starts going slower then me anyway.
