yeah, i definitely realize how lucky i am
My cousin got hit for street racing out in Reno and only ever hit 40 over on the highway and ended up paying over $4k in fines and spent something like 60 days in jail...

That was a little to fast though and I've never done that since... Because everything else starts looking still and when you go by 18 wheelers their wind turbulence hits your car and makes it very unstable...

The absolute fastest was 112 (according to the speedo) at about 3 am in morman city on I15. No traffic, and was on a slightly downhill stretch, so you could see for miles.

Then the guy riding with us said he didn't want to get pulled over because it would be his "3rd offence" and would get arrested. Ohh well, it was fun going that fast back then.

Not so much now, after we spun out doing only 80-85 in the middle of rush hour... Who knew that a large enough space in traffic to spin out through could magically appear at 6 pm on a major freeway RIGHT when you need it?

You know, my first speeding ticket that I got i had Kanye playing in my car... turned the volume down to talk to the officer, was all cool, then turned the music back up as i was driving away, and that song was playing

BTW, both my speeding tickets were in a Ford 500, not the Cougar, and i'm pretty sure i've been stupider in the Cougar... I don't enjoy paying fines... at all...
