Yeah, he was a cool cop. Only put 7 mph over on the ticket.

i personally paid 525 with 2 tickets to the great state of florida. no points though on either thank the lord.

i was nailed for doing over 100 in a 70. same type of thing. the speed limit had just gone up to 70 from 55 and so i was accelerating, not paying attention to my actual speed. i look up in the rear view and see blue and white, look down at my speedo and did one of those "OH ****" faces. i immediatly hit the brakes and pulled over. i managed to get pulled over by the best sheriff ever. he let me go

needless to say i slowed down after that.

Why the crap are you all driving so fast? I tapped 100 once, just for kicks. A long time ago. As much fun as being handed a huge ticket would be, I think I'd rather keep my driving "spirited" rather than "fined".

I can't believe you are ONLY paying $300! wow. my ticket last year was only going something like 12 or 15 over a 55mph limit, and was over $200. A guy I work with just got pulled over for about the same 12ish over a 65mph and was nearly $300.
