Sweet Car!

Well, not a "road" tale, but it made me feel really good.

I was working on the girlfriends Ion. Decided to take a break. I sit next to her and just check out what was going on in the neighborhood from my garage. There's always a lot of bicyclists riding by, including little kids. The cougar was pulled out on the street, since the Ion was in the garage.

We're talking and see some little kids go by. One kid starts pointing at my car and says to the other kid "Hey! Car! Car! Car!" ...trying to get his friends attention. I'm confused, so I just watch. The other kid finally notices and goes "I know... NICE!!" as he rides by.

It just put the biggest grin on my face ever. It's nice to get a little appreciation every so often.

It looks like a sedan with a scoop... I love them to death, but that's what they see. I tell people I want one, and they're like "don't old people own subarus"?

hell most people dont even know they are fast. put a coug and a wrx STi next to eachother and alot of ppl would point to the coug when you asked them which one they thought was faster

Hehe, I had about the same thing happen a week ago. I was driving down the road, pulled into the left hand turn lane at a stop light. When this 8 year old kid in the back seat of the Trailblazer next to me goes "WOOOOOO", and says to the other little kid next to him "Look at that car!" Makes me hope I just influenced a future modder.

lat time a biker looked at my cougar he had a head on collision with my back bumper. i still cant figure it out,how in the hell do you miss a big ass silver car right infront of you. o well he paid for repair and we are still friends to this day

Or lesbians. I actually had people tell me that my bugeye is ugly. I mean i do agree at some point, but thats the ugliness what makes me like my car as well as awesome power of TURBOZZ.

Yeah, thats very true. But you know i get less people trying to race me now. My car is very stealthy looking so i dont get people trying to ricers race me at traffic lights.

as much as i love the cougar i would trade it in a second for the all wheel drive goddes that is the wrx with the pink STi on the back
