97 Supra MT, 98 M3 Vert MT, 3L

Alright, so I was doing what I typically do saturday night and I was rolling with the car club. I just finished another round of mods (65mm TB / test pipe) [my high-flow cat started to break down, so we drilled out the rest]. We went to the first spot by our local barnes and noble down in the city to hang out. There was about 100 or so cars there when we arrived.

Anyways, we got kicked out soon after because cops have been coming down on us lately for "loitering."

This first race was sorta planned, as the supra wanted to get a pass on my car. I had decent crowd around it telling them about what I had done, so he was interested on what it could do. I had a few naysayers, too, as they saw my stock IMRC cover and such and called BS.. said "man, all you have is an intake and exhaust." Yeah, my sleeper plan worked

I got lined up next to him at around 40 mph. I wanted to give it a nice start in the TQ band so I slowed the race down to around 33-35 and went on 3 honks. I got a nice jump considering I didn't honk.. but didn't pull him very long. At around the top of 3rd he started pulling ahead, and got around a car maybe a car and a half when we shut down. That was a hella fun race, even if I lost.


Took down an M3 after that. I didn't really plan this race but I got a nice pass from a stoplight on my way home. Details aside, light drops and I ripped him out of the hole- I have no idea what he did but it looked like he bogged the launch, and stayed behind me all the way up to 100 when I shut down. He was a nice guy, another shocked face

uhm, Which M3....if it's an E46, he's got 115HP on you....If it's an E36 I'd see the win especially if he bogged

Sorry it was a 98 vert. I went ahead and changed the title. I don't think it was an E46, I believe it was more along the lines of:

1998 BMW M3 5.5 14.0

somewhere in the 5's. I have never been able to record it accurately and too many tests over different environmental situations make things worse.

Maybe if you stopped the stupid ricer street racing and took it too the track you'd solve those issues.

Seriously, you've got a decent amount of money in your car, now its time to grow up.

I've been to the track, it's not like I've never raced there.

And yet you still insist on racing on the weekends on the streets -- putting your life and others in danger. But bigger than that, you are part of the entire problem of Tuners -- and the reason that people like me cannot drive our cars more than 5 minutes without getting pulled over. You give the rest of us a bad name, and make my job of owning a shop difficult as all hell.
