so i was just drivin down the road waiting at a light to go to the movies, but there is about 1 mile Light i was at, to the light to turn at the movies but about half a mile down the road the two lanes merge, so its all or nothing i guess you could say, then some kid in an intrepid next to me starts inching up and revving... you could tell it was an atx, granted i have an atx too but i dont go revving something that isnt there, my gf looks over and i guess its some kid from her school, and she was like "race him" i planned on it anyways, he tilted his hat Stiffed out his left arm (to look like a mtx? or just wannabe badass?) then cocked his head back i thought it was funny, light turned green, and we took off, we were about the same for about 2 seconds then i pulled ahead quite easily, looked back and i think he gave up after a little while, maybe just because he knows my gf and hopes she doesnt recognize him and riticule him? anyways, i know ppl say that a v6 atx is slow and all but, it doesnt seem that way to me, mines stock and it still goes pretty quick, i can get it to shift at around 5000-5500 rpms usually if i want it to, sometimes i get sick of it tho, if im at a light someone pulls up next to me and automatically thinks i wanna race... thats why im buying my mods now so i have more to back it up with, anyways i was wondering, How slow Exactly is an intrepid? couldnt be any newer than 03, i see alot of them, they look just like a stratus tho...ive also raced a few Eclipse's on the highway, getting up to 120 mph on straights, thats pretty fun too, the cougar feels smooth all the way to 100 after that you can feel a little sense of control loss, but from a sit i dont think i could beat a mtx eclipse modded, like all the ones around here are
