negative battery cable

where does the other end of the negative battery cable bolt too? i have a few ideas where it goes but i don't know for sure can anyone give me the location? i have a 99 V6 mtx

just tell me where its supposed to go, there obviously is a specific place it bolts to and i don't know where that is, can anyone look at their car and give me the exact location, also there is another ground that bolts underneath the the airbox inlet, where does this cable run to. i am almost finished i just need to know these things... thanx

that second ground is probably for your a/c and you can really bolt the first anywhere you want, mines in the trunk

On my cougar it bolts to the top of the transaxle. It is one of the bolts that also holds the bracket for the starter. You have to remove your airbox to get to it.

yeah i seem to remember pulling it off the transaxle. or that it was one of the bolts that connected the transmission to the engine, what about the other ground cable (that connects benieth the airbox inlet), i don't think its to the a/c, it looks almost as if it grounds to another part of the frame.
