The answer is that there is no specific place it goes. Find ANY place on your block or tranny case to bolt it to and be done with it. It is a ground, it doesn't have a specific place it needs to go....other than to a good grounding location.

I had the same problom. I KNOW it would work anywhere theres a good engine or body frame ground. I just gave up and bolted it to a good size bolt on the engine. 100% working.
