THREE Warning Lights! Plz Help :(

Just install GC Coils, Koni struts, and BAT Cambers about 2 weeks ago. During the install, we had to remove the front calipers (don't ask why, we just did). All-in-all, the install went very smooth. We took our time and there was nothing that went "wrong".

Now, just then, I was driving and I got the "traction control light", "ABS light" and the general "!" warning light come on. I tried turning the car off, and turning it back on, but the sames lights came on again. And I've lost the traction control on/off button (it doesn't work). Basically, I think I've lost both my traction control and ABS brakes.

This wouldn't have anything to do with my suspension install, would it? And Ford wouldn't cover this under warranty now, would they? Anyone else have this problem before?

Please help me I'm totally lost.

    Thanks,
    Darrell.

Were the ABS sensors hooked back up correctly? They are attached onto the back of the hub with a small maybe 8mm bolt. I suppose if that wasn't attached or the wire was cut it could cause the ABS light to come on.

I thought of that. We just disconnected the calipers, took them apart, and hung them on the wheel well cover. We never disconnected any lines or anything.

I'm thinking that Ford SHOULD cover the problem (whatever the problem is) under warranty. The suspension install should have no relation to the ABS/Traction control.

Not positive but I think if ure ABS goes out so does Traction Control.... same module??

And yes the dealer should cover it... I just took my car in with 34,000 miles and a broken CV axle with my mods and they didn't say anything...

TC uses the ABS sensors to determine wheel slip, so yes- The two are connected. My guess is a crimped, disconnected, or otherwise severed sensor wire someplace.
