    lower manifold gasket

    i am installing lower gasket tomorrow ? do i just unbolt the lower manifold an slide the new gasket on or i have to disconnect the gas line that connect to it and how to i disconnect the gas line thinks

    Just unbolt it and lift the manifold up. Awesome part about the hoses being super flexible you should be able to completely move it out of the way.

    Straight lines make me giggle.

    i would do a bit of clean up in there as well once you get everything out of the way, dont just swap them out

    I didn't block the intake ports before cleaning the vicinity up. all sorts of crud got into the engine. had to crank forever, but she eventually coughed and spit back to life once the job was done.

    so, uh, don't drop any bolts down in there, (that's killed a mate's engine before) and don't let any crud in there either. in other words stick some shop towels in the ports or something.
