    Exclamation Extreme power loss. varies.

Ive had this ongoing problem for quite some time now, ever since i had it tuned by an sct guy. The guy told me that he tuned it to be much more aggressive and that id need to hold the steering wheel or else it'd rip out..lol. Did'nt really expect that much considering its a cougar but anyways it still did what he said to a certain degree only that the problem is it does it every once in awhile. The other 65% of the time the car seems either boggy or something. Takes awhile to accelerate as in an 30mph max diesel golf kart could beat me off the line >.> I've been trying to figure this out for quite some time and many of you have helped me come up with alot of great ideas that my car needed attention at anyways... Although none of you remember cause i had a diff account but it wouldnt let me log into it.... Since my last time on here ive had exhaust work done <fixed leaks> new o2 sensors, cleaned upper and lower intake, seafoam treatment, new oil ofc, new fuel pump, spark plugs spark plug wires, fixed my ait cause it was broken, pinpointed all my codes and got them cleared. Currently none showing as of yesterday. The reason im even writing this was because after all this work i thought it was getting kinda better, but yesterday i go to floor it and it bogged way way down, like never before, then it caught up with itself. Very weird.... Please any ideas?

First, please change the title to something descriptive of the problem you're having.

Second, did you check the FAQs and stickies? This sounds like a classic IMRC failure, if you have the V6.

that was first thing came to my mind as well. i think imrc only cuts in above 3000rpm though.
is it bogging off the line or as rpms rise over 3000?

Has nothing to do with the imrc. Thats been replaced as well and ive tested it, it works properly. Not to mention it would shoot a code.

Is it really possible that my mechanic i had put it in (fuel pump) put in a really cheap one that works sometimes and other times it doesnt? Cause if it really is then what kind of fuel pump would you guys recommend for my car? V6 99 auto.
