No brake light with hand brake

Not a big deal I guess, but just checking if someone might know why the brake light on my dash won't come on anymore when I pull the hand brake. Just noticed it the other day. The bulb isn't burnt out because it comes on and goes off when I start the car. Not sure if it makes a difference, but it's an 02 V6 MT. Thanks.

On the ebrake itself is an eletrical connector that switches when the ebrake is pulled. If you look under the center console it might be loose or disconnected..

Also, check that the wire is connected at the brake fluid reservoir under the hood.
