Doesn't seem to be low on coolant. It doesn't heat up under acceleration so idl don't think there is any air pockets. Not overheating. So I'm not sure. Maybe a bad heater core?

Check the water pump.

Note the dashboard gauge is more like an idiot light than an actual gauge. It won't read anything but dead center until the car is overheating. So you can't use that to gauge the normal variations in coolant temperature. Use the diagnostic mode (check in the FAQs for the new users forum) instead.

Well that's dumb. So it might be getting a little warm and I may not know it? How do I check the waterpump w/o removing it .
My heat is sorta warm. Just not very hot

Double checked coolant and it seems good. I checked the side of the engine and the cover looks wet or oily. Look like its coming from the bottom of the center top pulley. Not sure of the layout of this engine :p

Any one?
The water pump is on the back side of the engine, near the battery, under the Duratec 2.5 cover.
...assuming we're talking about the V6, which you didn't specify.

The center top pulley on the passenger's side (front) of the engine is the power steering pump. Those are often leaky.
The water pump, as explained, is on the other end of the engine, next to the battery.
Check to see that the belt is still on it, and still in good shape. Remove the belt and see that the water pump is still spinning freely, without noise of any kind. Also see that the bottom "weep hole" beneath the water pump pulley isn't leaking coolant excessively.

yeah i would say it could be due to bad circulation of coolant, which could be the water pump or clogged heater core. also you may have a thermastat stuck open which would make the car run cool. you should try to get an after market temp gauge or use a laser to find out if the engine is operating at normal temps.
