My car has always drank oil since i bought it from the last owner. It never bothered me but now i would like to try and sort it if possible.
I was replacing a section of intake pipe a few days ago and noticed a run of oil in the bottom of the pipe. Obviously the oil is getting back up to the intake somehow and then being burnt away in the engine.
Is this a breather issue or piston rings passing etc?
What can i check etc?
