Those would be the shift cables. If it were stuck in neutral then that would explain the problem you are having, but you just said it's shifting so obviously those aren't the problem either.

And we're done. You refuse to take our advice so people are getting annoyed. Including me. Find another shop and let us know which of the explanations we gave you and you rejected was correct.

Gotcha, sorry.

Could you take a photo of the car from head on? We can pinpoint the problem by seeing how the wheels are sitting.
