nothing there when trying to start
Every summer this happens... my battery comes on, but when I go to start the engine nothing happens. I turn the key and get absolutely no response.
I've taken it into mechanics and dealers and nobody can ever tell me what is wrong... and when they do tell me what was wrong and claim they fixed it, it happens again later that day. I've spent thousands of dollars on this car (more than what I got the thing for) and am about three seconds away from ghostriding it over the edge of a cliff. p.s. - The problem I just shared with you is only one... I also have only one working window (the other two I've had "fixed" multiple times as well), a check engine light that has been on 99.9% of the time I've owned the car, two catalytic converter replacements (within a year of each other), and other things. |

Re: nothing there when trying to start
i would find a mechanic that knows what hes talking about. there is no reason to replace a cat twice in that amount of time.
where are you located. chances are you might have someone on here close that might be able to help you out

Re: nothing there when trying to start
Are your battery terminals free of corrosion? Poor connections = low voltage = no start = working lights.
Clean the terminal connections.
