a/c help
well today was the first hot day out, 91 degrees, and the a/c was blowing cool but it was not ice cold like it should be. at night it blows out cold but then when it gets hot and humid during the day day its blows cool but not cold, could i need a new a/c accumulator and then get it recharged or what?

who knows ....
how are the pressures how is the clutch cycling? how is the clutch air gap? what is the temp of the air coming out of the vent? are there any leaks? has air gotten into the system because of leaks, etc? you really need to provide more information if you want some help .... otherwise pay a shop to figure it out ....

how do you know there are no leaks? what are the system pressures when its running? have you verified that the clutch and compressor are working as they should? the only reason you would have to replace the accumulator is if it rusted through, causing a leak ....

i had it checked for leaks not to long ago, maybe a new evaporator would help, because i heard that should be replaced when the a/c compents are takin out, for example when you replace the condensor or compressor so no moisture gets in?
