Re: hi there, new here, problem with the cougar
it was a day before i put the 2nd post up. did the headlight sticky and it still pulses. i'm not a dick i just want to get this thing fixed. i've done tons of work on cars since i was 13. thats why i'm getting frustrated with this POS. but he's my buddy so i'm trying to help him. i spent 2 hours doing the sticky and another 20 mins changing the inner tie rod on his car today. only to find out the 2 hours was a waste because it still pulses.... i've never had a problem remotely like this with any of my cars and all 7 of them have been either GM or Dodge... i hate ford...
sorry if i came out looking like a dick but thats how i am, i'm very assertive and USUALLY fast when it comes to my jobs. doesn't help that i'm working on something i don't like... Nick |

Re: hi there, new here, problem with the cougar
Hi, New to this forum so I don't know if you resolved the headlight surging issue or not but thought I would give you some help just in case. Ford issued a TSB (tsb 00-25-6) about this. The following is the link to the pdf for the bulletin that might help you out
http://www.teamwetworks.com/claymore...sb00-25-06.pdf also if you click on the next link it will give you the updated tsb that encompasses other models (tsb 01-10-12) TSB 01-10-12 - 1994-1997 Power Stroke FAQ hope it helps. ![]() |
